There has not been a better time to switch your house to solar. Not only have solar panel prices dropped significantly in the last few years, at the beginning of 2016 PG&E announced their largest rate hike in 10 years! This could push the average customer’s electric bill up by 7%. If prices continue to rise like they have been (about 4% per year on average), over the next 20 years your electricity bill could double! In addition, the incentive programs will start ending soon. Utilities are required to offer Net Metering offsets for home solar power systems only until the total capacity of renewable energy generated exceeds 5% of their demand, and that capacity is filling up fast.

How our project flow works:
First, we do a rate and savings analysis. This is based on your current electricity usage and rates from your latest bills. Next we do an on-site evaluation to determine the best location and mode of installation – roof mounted or located on the ground. Then we design a system to fit your budget and usage needs. We apply for the necessary permits and then proceed with the installation. Once installation is complete and your system is up and running, we schedule a follow-up appointment to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your new solar power system!
Payment options:
If you can pay for the system upfront, you will be able take advantage of the 30% Federal Tax Credit. This means a $10,000 system will actually only cost you $7,000 in the end, after the $3,000 (30%) tax deduction. However, we understand that not everyone has the cash to pay for it all at once, so we offer a few other options:
Purchase with Solar Loan
With solar loans that require $0 down and payments up to 60% less than your current utility bill, everyone can go solar!
Guarantee
Our solar panel systems are backed by a 25 year manufacturer warranty. We offer web-based monitoring that shows you the amount of electricity being generated 24/7, and we will contact you by email or text message if our system shows something isn’t working properly. Your solar panels are guaranteed to produce electricity for 25 years, and if they do not produce more that 80% of their factory-rated power output then we will replace them at no charge. Our micro-inverters are also warranted for 25 years.
FAQs
Yes, there are some roof types however, that it is not recommended to put solar on due to leak concerns.
A Solar System is one of the best investments you can make for your home. Not only does it add value to your home, but it also has a huge return on your investment. Usually ranging from 10-20%.
Not much. You can hire someone to come out and wash the panels every couple of months, but really all you need to do is rinse them off with a filtered hose. Because we are monitoring the system, if anything stops working we will know pretty quickly and be out to fix it.
Any permitted structure (that can support the added weight) and any open space on the ground.
Since Photovoltaic Solar Panels (PV Solar Panels) are primarily made of silicon, there are no dangers of leaking toxins or fumes. However, there are electrical components involved. Exercise caution as you would around any type of electricity.
When sunlight shines on the panels, the panels convert sunlight directly into DC (Direct Current) electricity. The electricity goes from the panels to an inverter, where it is then changed to AC (alternating current) electricity. The AC power is then piped through the regular home electrical system for normal use. Rest assured, a professionally installed system has all its live wires concealed in conduit or inside of walls where it is completely safe and secure.
All of our residential systems include online monitoring (WiFi connection required).
Maybe, the utility rates are changing to “time of use” it is driving the need to battery storage to insure that you receive the most return for your money on your system. In California, most utilities will allow us to connect the system to their grid. Because of this you will be able to have power even when the solar system is not producing power.
Most likely it will void your roof warranty where we work. Because of this we offer a 10 year roof penetration warranty.
If the power goes out your power will still go out. This is for the safety of the line workers. If you want to make sure your power is always on you can add a battery backup system to avoid this issue.
The install itself usually only take a couple of days. For larger projects it can take up to 10 days.
